About Our Host

Jim and Christa – Our Barcelona, Spain hosts were Jim and Christa. This was one of first trips and were a little nervous to go. We were a little nervous because Jim and Christa are never home, they are always going somewhere or doing something. We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to keep up with them but we did. They love to travel, see the world and each other. They made the adventure exciting.

Spain is 5,076 miles away from our house.  That’s pretty far.  So when our next door neighbors asked us to travel there with them we weren’t sure at first.  But, hey, we are adventurers after all, so off we went.  We’re sure glad that we did.  We had a blast with Jim & Krista.  We saw beautiful scenery, and ate some great food.  Our favorite spot was Montguic’s Fountain located in the center of Placa d’Espanza.  We learned it was created for the 1929 World Exhibition.  We also learned that it was fun to catch the mist rising from it, especially on a hot day.  It was very cool & refreshing.
